Something you might not know about me...

I think that you know that I am a nurse, so being a nurse I don't have a problem with all sorts of bodily fluids. Blood, urine, poop, internal organs not a problem for me. One thing I do have a problem with though is vomit, I can't stand it (probably one of the reasons I work with neonates). Well today, thanks to Alex, I got to get up close and personal with my least favorite thing once again. Oh the rewards of being a parent! We were on the freeway nearly to the exit for the YMCA when all of the sudden Alex got sick all over himself. Of course I quickly pulled to the side of the freeway and cleaned him up the best I could but then I had to get off the freeway and head back home. Oh joy of joys, I got to clean up the kid and the car seat! Luckily Joe is working from home today and was able to watch Abbie while I cleaned things up.

Eck! The smell is the worst! Especially in a vehicle!

Bobby got sick on New Year's Day last year, 20 miles south of Payson on the Beeline! I had to clean him up, on the side of the road, clean the vehicle, and drive home for another HOUR while he kept wretching!

The one thing I was SO grateful for was that I had Peppermint and Lavender Essential Oils with me. They helped with nausea (for everyone in the vehicle) as well as the general smell.

When I got home, Tom cleaned the van and the car seat. I was very grateful!
