Family time

The whole family has been spending more time together playing lately and it has been great fun. the other day Joe and Alex were playing play dough on the kitchen table after dinner. They both were having a great time.

Sorry about all the posts today, but it has been awhile since I updated and it is easier to have several posts with a couple pictures than one with many. Oh, btw I won another prize! I won 2 prints from Sarah Jane Studios from the ONEiTY blog. I am just waiting for them to send me the code so that I can order them.

Carolina Crossroads Part 2

I have finally finished part 2 of the Carolina Crossroads mystery! There are a lot of small squares in 100 3" finished 9 patches. I am really liking the colors in this quilt. Someone suggested that it looked like Neapolitan ice cream and I think that fits so I am going to have to use that in the title somehow.

First Zoo Trip of the year

My friend and I both have zoo memberships so on the 11th we decided to take advantage of the nice weather and go to the zoo. We all had a good time and she and I got a nice walk in. We are planning on making this our Friday place to walk except last Friday it was too cold to go. Hopefully the weather will be good and the kids will have recovered from their colds so that we can go this week.
