Tonight I finished a black and batik top that I was making as a Christmas present (I'll try to get some pictures tomorrow). I have decided to have it longarmed so other than picking up some backing fabric, it is completed for now. I have spent at least the last hour trying to decide what to work on next. I have a bunch of UFO's that need to be completed, but I am feeling compelled to work on something new. There are two projects that I am contemplating, Bonnie's mystery quilt and Crazy Mom Quilt's quilt-a-long. I think that I just came to the realization that since these both are quilts in installments there is no reason that I can't work on both at the same time. I also have in my mind a scrapbook/memory quilt for our travels using 3", 6", 9" and 12" blocks. I need to go to the copy store and reduce some patterns before I can start on that. I also need to work on the pay it forward challenge gifts that I committed to in July.
Tonight for dinner we had Lasagna Soup, a recipe from Cuisine at Home. I love to make soups for dinner in the winter and this is one of my favorite soup recipes. Bulk Italian sausage has even become a staple in my freezer so that I can make this soup whenever I get a craving.

I know you love Quiltville stuff, but peeking at the fabric choices from Crazy Mom, I see why you're considering it. Knowing you haven't been thrilled at prior Mystery quilts, you may want to consider Crazy Mom's... it sounds like it will be twelve 12" blocks, which you will have more control over. Versus lots of little units from Quiltville. So, that's my take on it.
I've marked the Lasagna Soup recipe... have to buy the ingredients and give it a try!
Suzy
So I had to improvise a little with the soup, but it was a success at our house! R, P, and I really liked it, and A picked at it, but no real compaints!
Thanks for encouraging me to try it!!!
