Yesterday was MLK day here and since I had the kids H, my mom and I took the kids to the zoo. We even had an extra kid tag along. L's daughter B didn't have school but L had to work so we dragged her along too. The weather was great and the zoo was crowded but it wasn't too bad. H got a couple of great pictures of the kids. I was so grateful to my mom for coming with use since with an extra kid and the crowds it was nice to have another pair of adult eyes. Check out those too cool for school shades on Alex. He is beginning to look like such a big boy now!

Every time I think of / hear about going to the PHX Zoo, I feel a little tug at my heart and the back of my throat. It's always been one of my favorite things to do in the Valley (that and the Botanical Gardens and the Ren Faire).
Glad you guys were able to enjoy the weather, just wish I could have joined you (this really doesn't get "easier" with time!) :P
